Dansko Women's Jenelle Sandal

I love the look, the support, the style. I could easily imagine happily wearing these dressier (than Keens or Chacos) sandals, but unfortunately they are too narrow to suit my feet. The straps are too tight close to the toes, and the strap over the top of the arch is not "long" enough in the velcro. I have had problems before with Dansko clogs not being "high" enough to go over the top of my arches. I even ordered two sizes, but while the longer size accommodates the arch better, it is simply too long.Alas.... I so want them, but no amount of staring at them or longing is going to make them quite right. I need to get them boxed and returned.... I am going to try the Dansko "Sophie" to see how that might fit. Fingers crossed :)

I needed to replace a pair of Orthaheel sandals which are still functional but could no longer be worn in public - a layer is peeling off all over the top and it looks ugly. I didn't want another pair of Orthaheels since I figure another pair will likely do the same (too bad because they are very comfortable.) I tried various different types of sandals and these were the only ones (besides Orthaheel) that had the right amount of arch support. I did order up a 1/2 a size due to the strap over the top being a bit tight. I am usually an 8, which would have been a 38, but I exchanged it for a 39 (8.5-9). I have a bunion and low arches and this sandal has been really great for me. I got them in black/brown and ivory. Highly recommend.

I've been wearing these sandals for less than a week, but when I first tried them on I noticed immediately that the thong part of the shoe hurt between my toes. I know that you have a "break-in" period, or at least I do, after not wearing sandals all winter, but these were uncomfortable immediately. I am wearing them today and they are better, but still not great. I don't know if these will be my go-to-comfortable sandals this summer. They also seem to be a bit smaller than my other Dansko sandals. I wear a 40 in all my Danskos and these seem to be smaller all around. Best advice, find them in the store and try them on. I've never returned a pair of shoes purchased on line, but I almost did these.

...than the Dansko Bett and Banks that I have also bought. Still very supportive of the foot, but not sure if it was worth the cost of importing it to France. I could possibly have found something similar and cheaper here.Will always buy Dansko 'proper' shoes from now on, but not really convinced about the need to import their sandals.

I love Danskos and have 10 pairs of them so I was very happy to discover this sandal. My very similar Birkis has blown out the toe loop and I needed something new and a tad dressy but still comfy so this looked good.As other reviewers mentioned they do run small. I didn't wear them long enough to tell if the toe separator is in the right place, as I returned them immediately. I have relatively normal to narrow feet and these felt narrow to me! Such a shame to return them but I must

These shows are not only comfortable but nice looking as well. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is that the color was way off of white, as shown in the picture. Actually, they're more like a very light gray - that was disappointing. But other than that, I would buy another pair.

These sandals are wonderful! They fit as expected, a little snug to get into but once on, I go all day and forget that I'm wearing shoes. I guess I would compare wearing these to the snug but comfortable feel of athletic shoes but in sandal form. To me that is a good thing!

Great for arches and can walk all day in this one. Strap may need to be worn in a bit as it is still tight and needs a bit of adjusting when you slip your foot in. I bet this will be easy once worn a while.
