I've tried a couple times to stretch my ears and I've never been able to follow the taper with my plugs AND get the plug to go through the back of my piercing hole. Up until I used these tapers I thought that maybe my ears weren't meant to be stretched. I was really happy to finally get my 14g plugs in :^) the 18g & 16g tapers are also very helpful because I actually needed to start with the 16g rather than the 14g that most sets have. I only needed this kit for the 7mm (1g) to 10mm (00g). Great set, smooth insertion, sizes seem accurate. Jewelry somwhat fits inside the end for easy switch from taper to tunnel. If your looking to stretch by this set and single flarred steel tunnels or plugs and you'll be great. The 7mm and 9mm make the 2-0 and 0-00 jumps painless and healthier for your ears. This kit has all the sizes I need as I don't plan to go past 2g. I ordered these because they are concave as well and they work great, it's just a shame you only get one of each size.
