Q: Does this come flat packed (I know the larger model does), and what are its dimensions on delivery?

It does come flat pack, but I can’t remember the dimensions, sorry. It wasn’t a very big box that it came in though.

Q: I have a bbq lodge and want to remove the base/legs so i can sit the basket in the middle of the bbq and use it as a log burner only, is this feasible

Yes. We bought ours to use in a BBQ cabin and it works fine. We use it with the legs but without the base.
