KampaDometic Rally Pro 260 Awning

This is a strange product to review as in my view it is sold incomplete. Kampa supply two sets of extra poles seperately and at additional cost.The first of these are a pair of rear poles which attach to the awning on the edge that butts up to the side of the caravan. These cost about £35 for the pair. Without them the awning has all the rigidity of a co-op carrier bag and flaps around offering those inside no protection from the elements whatsoever.Secondly Kampa sell additional extra roof poles, fittingly called 'monsoon' poles. These poles only cost about £7 each, but without them rainwater gathers and pools in the roof panels of the awning causing the roof to sag horribly.With all these extra poles in place the Rally Pro is an excellent awning with several after-market accessories available to improve it still further. If it was supplied with the additional poles as standard I would give it a five star rating.
