5 & 6 Gallon Pump with Metal Pail Strap

Works great

The media could not be loaded.  Works great on my 5gal lacquer thinner can. Assuming my can is standard. The gray adapter popped right on and tightened down. I went with the strap instead of the clamp due to some neg reviews. Strap is a little short and tilts pump a bit but still works. It may be designed that way to leverage pump so it doesn't move around. It pumped on the very first upstroke and puts out some volume. Ill update as time goes on.

This thing works great in a 5 gallon bucket. You don’t have to take the lid off. Just take the filler cap out and shove this down in. Use it every day.

I've got these in 3 different 5 gallon cans of mixing thinners in my spray booth. It's so easy to pump out my quantity of thinner compared to picking up the can every time. I bought the first one a few months ago to try out, and it worked so well I bought two more. The only issue I've had is that the mounting bracket fits some types of cans better than others. Full disclosure, for one type of can I had to weld a tab to the mounting bracket to lengthen one leg of it.

I bought this for a five gallon container of honey. The pump is amazing and pumps honey like mad. However the mount doesn't fit the bucket at all. So it takes 3 hands to use it. One pumping, one holding the pump body down and one holding the container to be filled. I am going to use Aviation styled stainless steel wire to hold the pump body down, reducing how many hands required to use.Oh, the pump should come with a cap for dribble a stop and a contamination blocker. I used a cap I already had.

Bought an Opti-Lube 5 gallon bucket/tub and came with plastic hand pump that was a little sticky and only one ounce per pump. This metal pump clamped on the side just the upgraded metal one you can buy from Opti-lube directly, at half the price or so.The pump is smooth to use, and since the handle and the spout is separate, it is actually easier to use than the plastic, because you don't have to keep your hand clamping on a moving spout. I am very happy with it, but only used it to fill one of each 8 ounce and 16 ounce bottles, will need to last for a while to make it pay off, but I am hopeful.

I have been using these for a while now to transfer corrosive (viscosities close to water). I clean thoroughly after each use. There appears to be a bit of very minor leaking at the top bolt at the base of the handle, but really minor and otherwise does a fantastic job.
