This rice looks very yellow. When cooked, Colour changes but it's as if you are eating shredded cardboard. Not a miniscule of the aroma of proper basmati rice and really hard grains. Awful. absolute waste of money.

My usual basmati rice was not available so decided to try this one. Straightaway when I opened the bag I thought 'this does not smell like basmati'. When I poured it into my storage container, it was obvious that it was 'easy cook' rice, that yellowish colour instead of white. I even double backed to my order details to see if I had purchased the wrong rice, but no, I ordered basmati and the bag says basmati.If it looks like easy cook, smelled like easy cook and taste like easy cook ........
