Battery Back Door Cover Case for Gameboy Color GBC Game Boy Color Replaceme Clear Purple

For well over the past 10 years, I've had a piece of duct tape holding the batteries in place on my Gameboy Color. I'm pretty sure I lost the original cover less than a year after I first got it. I would have ordered this so much sooner if I knew this was available. It's a pretty simple piece so it works exactly how I expected it to. Looks good, feels good, and finally brings my GBC back to it's original glory.

The cover looks great and matches well as I showed in the photo, that's the part I'm happy with. But the shipping was ridiculous... I ordered this on the 8th, and I'm only just now getting it today the 16th so that's 8 days. This wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't promised NEXT DAY SHIPPING! Don't make promises you can't keep.

Ever since I had my Game Boy Color as a kid, it didn't have the battery cover, so I'm super happy to finally get one after nearly 20 years. It doesn't fully match the color of my GBC, but I attribute that to 1. it's not from Nintendo themselves and 2. the actual GBC is over 20 years old and plastic can discolor super easily. Still, I would recommend these replacements.
