Defender Security U 9514 Guard Latch shield, 12 in. x 12 in, Brass

latch guard works as intended. Unfortunately the one way screws were horrible to work with. Ended up using traditional screws and drilling out the thread.

This will protect my house entry from a pry bar attack.

Great to stop thiefs get past a door that is not dead bolted; Then they just kick it in!!

Serves as a deterremt for burglary. Protects door locks and bolts from getting pried open w/some sort of bar. May not stop but most burglars are lazy and will look for easier prey.

The picture of the product showed two U channels but in reality one is straight and the other is U. But it works just as well. The instructions weren't very clear about the install so had to find a video online to see how to use the various screws provided. Other then that happy with the product.

This latch guard was easy to install and operates exactly as expected... While no one has yet to break in to our office, I can say that it certainly seems the guard would make a break-in more difficult.

Picture is not clear. It looks like there are 2 U-shaped metal guards, but there's only one U-shaped piece and one flat piece. Will serve the purpose, only I was looking for 2 u-shaped pieces. Great for doors without a bolt lock.
