Pick screen
Very thin works great to keep espresso machine clean. Seems to help distribute water evenly. Nice thickness especially when you have a full puck. Clean up easily with just a rinse. Would recommend.

Works great with 58mm portafilters
The media could not be loaded. Love the value of these for use with a 58mm portafilter and Flair 58. They are thin but the Flair 58 doesn't have a showerscreen that may damage the puck screen, so I had no issues in that respect. They are not as hard to clean as others have said. A little rub may be required now and then but nothing annoying. I prefer these to the mesh type due to the easiness of cleaning and they work as well.

These suck
The grounds go through and dirty showerhead. These are also way more difficult to wash ground off somehow they get caught on the edges of the holes, i prefer the cheaper thick ones they rinse off easily and provide a more even water distrobjtion over the puck. For instance is a showerhead hole is not lined up with one of these holes it will be blocked whereas the wire filters have finer mesh that no matter where the shower head is pressed against the filter can it possibly restrict flow, these restrict flow before it dven gets to the puck!

Thin for the Win
Like the thinness of this screen and the full coverage provided by the 58.5mm diameter.

Coffee taste different maybe better!
I seen where people use to prevent channeling of the coffee grounds. You going to want put these in three quart kettle or pot and bring to. Rolling boil at least one maybe twice. I was worried about mine fusing together because both at once. This will leech almost all stainless steel from the screen if not all. It probably be better to do it twice in a stainless steel three quart kettle or pot or whatever you have. Two quarts might work if you do one at a time. It should leech out almost all or all stainless steel from the screen. Whether you decide to buy paper filter or give these a go.I hope you enjoy your espresso!

Sehr praktisch

You'd hardly know it was there... super thin.
Worked perfectly! Not sure how much it helps with the water dispersion, I do know that it is doing a great job at reducing the amount of cleaning required, as it is a good barrier for keeping the coffee grounds in the portafilter away from the shower head in the groupset.I was apprehensive as I had bought a similar product in the past and it was too thick to work with my coffee machine (Sage Oracle). See photo for comparative thickness.

Does the job it's made for
I was using the paper filters and wanted to try something more sustainable. Was a little sceptical that they would be too thick and cause the water to flow slower. However they worked great and did the job just as well as the paper filters. The only issue I had was not with the discks but with the user. as uUnfortunately both units ended up in the bin when I was on holiday as our daughter forgot to remove them before tapping out the used grinds. Now back to using the paper filters.

Does the job and keeps my machine clean
Does a good job to keep my machine clean and doesn't impact water distribution or pressure. Only issue is they are really flimsy which is fine as I prefer it to be thinner to not impact the way that my espresso pulls but something to bare in mind when cleaning as I think it could easily be bent if not being careful when cleaning.
