My skin is retinized and I'm very used to using retinols, both prescription and not. I wanted to try this out because lately the prescription stuff has been really rough on my skin and giving me some dry patches. My lips have been painfully dry and since this is advertised as helping cracked lips I thought "why not?"This product hasn't helped my cracked lips, I'm in the same spot I was about a month ago when I first got it. It's also re-introduced red splotches and acne, two things that I had gotten rid of with use of other retinoid/retinol/vitamin A derived products. I'm not doubling up on retinoids, I have been using only this for the last month. I will be using the rest of the tube on my elbows and knees, no where on my face.
