I was looking for a pair of tower speakers to use for movies and listening music. I'm very happy with these, good detail without sound harsh and amazing bass! I was thinking of getting a subwoofer at some point in the future, I might still do but in a much more distant future than I expected! I'm powering it with the Denon PMA-600NE, I think they match very well. Great value. Good sound stage. Good for movies and music.

I bought these to replace older speakers that had had their day. These are a great improvement. There is much more separation of instruments - I can hear where individual instruments are placed in the mix, which I couldn’t before. I’m not expert, but the general sound seems good to me. Bass was louder than I expected, with the rear plugs out. The speakers were taller than I expected: the person in the photos you see them beside must be about six feet four - so it’s worth checking the measurements for your own space. It’s also worth keeping in mind that they are deep.The grills are held on magnetically and fall off if you brush against them, so you would have to think about whether to leave them on if you had children or they were in a place they would be knocked against.Expensive items, but I hope to get years out of them, and I am pleased with them.

needed to upgrade from some smaller Q acoustics speakers we had wall mounted & these are perfect. Filled the Port for the bass to make it tighter for our room, nice to have that option when they need to be nearer walls. Fantastic sound. Lovely build quality - hope they last me now until old(er) age!

Sound quality is very good . Iam running these speaker with 2 Q acoustics subs through a onkyo TX-SR494 . Really pleased with the results. Good price too

These things look AMAZING and even better than that they sound AMAZING. Very happy indeed. I actually have to use the provided bass mufflers otherwise the walls rattle. Extremely clear sound and a very powerful bass. Superb.
