It does everything I expect it to do.I like the white colour as it fits in better with the kitchen decor - and so is less obtrusive.Delivery of the item was very quick and efficient.

I got this for a sewing machine I brought back from the US. The sewing machine has a AC to DC adapter inside which is what prompted me to buy it (the US to UK difference is not only voltage but also in frequency).Caveat: the machine I have uses around 60VA, so I got such a big transformer to be on the "really" safe side. I have forgotten the machine turned on for a whole day and the transformer was just fine, didn't even get warm.I would certainly recommend it for an appliance like that. My transformer came with two US-plugs, not one like shown in the picture.

I tried to use this item but it didn't work at all.

Does exactly as described. Great product, well built and works well. Can recomend this product to anyone wishing to use any low powered American devices.
