Fringe Highlands/Worldwide VHF/UHF TV Signal Finder

I used it in the UK only. But it does really work well. It shows you the change in the strength of the TV aerial signal as you rotate the aerial. It is designed for TV aerials only not Sat dishes. Highly recommended.Here is the story: Initially, before i bought this one, i was very suspicious, because in the past I bought another TV aerial meter from Argos which was rubbish so I had to return it back at the time. Now I have moved into a new house in Ipswich, my neighbour’s house is higher than mine, and it is in the direction of the main TV transmitter (in Ipswich) so I needed a good meter to help me to find another transmitter nearby. With this meter I managed to find another transmitter nearby with probably even stronger signal. Now my aerial is mounted in the loft with a small signal booster, and everything is working very well.

It allows you to aim that aerial in the right direction and where the signal is strongest. Then do a free view search to get channels. Use your screen signal strength meter to then fine tune the direction of the Aerial and you are away. I use it in my motorhome. It really helps out.

Works quite well but watch out for localised interference. I have tried it against a professional signal meter and found it adequate for home use.

Great product - immensely better than the previous TV signal finder which I used in my caravan (and was little better than useless). This device simply plugs into the aerial socket (without the TV itself needing to be connected), and is very sensitive. Turning the aerial gradually illuminates the LEDs until the best position is obtained.

Freeview signal reliability had deteriorated after the analogue shutdown. This little device allowed me to adjust the antenna position (in the attic), check the splitter amplifier and the cable from the attic to each television and restore perfect reception. Well worth the money.

Bought this item to check my main home aerial found it easy to connect and solved my problem due to a loose lead .I found this out in about five mins. due to using this product.It does what it says on the tin.
