Great Little Kettle
This works great. Gets hot fast enough, pours easily for pour over coffee but still can fill a cup of tea. Only thing that can be improved is the ease of setting temp.

Perfect Kettle!
Dont believe the "WeIrD tEmPeRaTure SeTuP" reviews that are strewn across Reddit. This thing changes temps with ease. I wish that it would auto-hold after hitting its temp, thats all.

Actually only 780ml not 800ml
This kettle performs well. It heats to the desired temperature pretty fast and will hold it there. Even if you remove the kettle from the base to pour. When you set it back on the base it will bring it back up to the set temperature and hold it there without having to press any buttons provided that you have the hold temp setting turned on. I tested the temperatures with a calibrated thermometer and the actual temperatures were always within 1 or 2 degrees of the set temperature. The kettle seemed able to bring the water up to the desired temperature and stop without overshooting the mark and also is able to hold it at the set temperature pretty well. My only complaint is that the advertised volume is not what it says that it is. It is advertised as a .8 liter capacity. I purchased it for use for pour over into an 800ml Hario thermal carafe. So I wanted 800ml to 1 liter capacity. I would have preferred slightly larger than 800ml to have a little extra for rinsing filters but 800ml would still work. However if you fill this kettle to the "Max fill" line marked in the kettle it measures out at 780ml or 780grams. I measured it both with a measuring cup and with a scale and they were both consistent at 780. You can fill this kettle past the Max fill with 800ml of water but as it heats, water will spill out the spout at temperatures above 93°C (200°F) so you can't get 800ml of water to the proper temperature for pour over coffee without it spilling. Overall it's a nice kettle and I still like it for smaller single serving pour over but for a larger batch for two people it's just a little too small. If they made a slightly larger version I would buy it but it seems they only make a 600ml and this "800ml" version. I took a star off for the capacity issue but if 780ml is enough water for you I would highly recommend this kettle.

Great
Great kettle. Very accurate. Lasted me over a year and works as new.

Great for sub-boiling temps (e.g., coffee, lighter teas), but useless and unsafe for boiling!
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE (8/23/23): I have heard back from Timemore, who say that my kettle likely has a faulty temperature sensor, and they are sending me a replacement free of charge. That's a great first step to resolving my problem! :) I'll update my review again once I can test the new kettle.UPDATE (8/24/23): Well, never mind the replacement. The domestic warehouse is out of stock, *and* now Timemore is telling me that it's probably not actually a faulty sensor, but more an issue of a lower boiling point for my altitude. The problem is, the adjusted boiling point for the elevation of where I live is slightly over 207°F, which is still the temperature at which boiling water shoots out of the kettle. This means that the kettle's sensor does indeed work correctly, in that it stopped once it got a bit beyond boiling, but since I can't set the temp to 207° without making a mess, and I can't set it to 206° because of the weird slider control that skips numbers, I've decided that I will be returning the kettle for a refund instead of a replacement. My original review follows below..._______________________________First of all, let me say that I believe I may have received a faulty product which might not represent how this kettle is *supposed* to function. I've contacted Timemore about it and I'm awaiting a reply about a possible replacement (if I don't hear back in the next few days, though, I'll simply return it to Amazon for a refund). Now, with that out of the way... This compact and attractive little kettle does have plenty of good points. It looks nice, it heats water quickly, and it gives a terrific smooth pour for your coffee. I have noticed that my coffee legitimately tastes better after switching to this gooseneck kettle with wider range of temperature adjustability. That being said, it also has plenty of negative aspects, which I will list below:• For some weird reason, the "commercial edition" 800mL version of this kettle is advertised all over the place (including on the Timemore website) as being a 1500W kettle; however, the packaging it comes in, the included manual, and even the info label on the underside of the kettle itself ALL state a rating of only 1350W. It's a strange bit of false advertising, albeit a fairly small difference, and it's still a higher wattage than most other electric gooseneck kettles that I've seen at this size and price point!• Yes, the temperature adjustment control can be a bit finicky and annoying, though I don't think that it's nearly as bad as some reviewers have stated. It's not great, but I find it's easiest to use if you simply think of it as being similar to a gentle swipe on a touchscreen as opposed to a physical dial or slider that would require more finger pressure. It is odd, though, that you literally cannot set it to certain temperatures because it seems to use increments larger than one. For example, it jumps directly from 199°F up to 201°F. There is no way to set it to 200° even.• The kettle wobbles slightly on the base. This doesn't seem to impede functionality. It just bugs me.• Finally, the biggest problem, which admittedly MAY be due to me having gotten a faulty product (I won't know until I can get a replacement). When I set my kettle to boiling (212°F), the water temperature display will only go up as high as 207°. When it reaches 207°, it immediately stops heating, though the water inside will be audibly boiling, and then not only do scalding hot water droplets shoot out from the vent holes in the lid, but a stream of hot water also comes pouring out through the spout to spill all over my countertop. I've tried boiling water in this kettle with it filled to both the "MAX" and the "MIN" lines, but it does the same thing every time. This bizarre occurrence can be seen in my included video. If I were only planning to use this kettle for pour-over coffee, then it wouldn't really matter, but I also want to be able to use it for tea. Black teas and herbal tisanes call for boiling water, but I seriously do not want to have a portion of that boiling water come flying out of the kettle all over my counter (and possibly hands) every single time I want to brew up some Earl Grey! This renders my kettle unfit for work in my kitchen, hence why I am seeking out either a replacement or a refund. If I get the former, then I'll gladly update this review, but if it's the latter, then I'll just take my money and spend it elsewhere. A shame, really, because this kettle does make a great cup of coffee!

broken
After one month of usage it stopped heating. Temperature sensor works, you change settings as usual, but if you turn on heating indicator lights red and don't heat
