I purchased this and the aerosol. I wasnt sure the aerosol would be enough so got this as a back up. When the aerosol ran out I started using this and I much prefer this to the spray. This doesn't smell as toxic as the spray - more of a citronella scent to it and it keeps the mozi's away just as effectively as the spray. It also doesn't ruin plastics or other materials like the spray does. I would definitely recommend this item. The only slightly down side is after application I would rub it in so preferably you need to wash or rinse your hands.

Bought this for Mexico and Costa rica. Easy to apply as its a roll-on. I barely got bitten on a 3 week trip so would say it's effective and worth the money.

Best product out there to keep those biting critters away. I use this every summer for the whole family and when we use it we don’t EVER get bitten!Roll on allows you to apply an even coverage, it drys quickly and gives protection into the following day.Perfect holiday companion

This is the best insect repellent I have used in a long time. It is so easy, you just roll it on and that's it. The smell is notable but not strong and actually quite pleasant, unlike most DEET products which have a strong chemical smell. It is quite small so easily fits in a pocket if you are out and about in the evening. I was away for a month and so bought two but really didn't need to- I used it almost every evening and I would say the first one feels about half full still. The only thing that might annoy some people is obviously when you apply it is goes on in a line from the rollerball- you might want to rub it in to ensure a more even coverage. To avoid getting it on my hands (and then needing to go in and wash them) I would just roll it on and then rub my arms together to spread it around to avoid having to touch the DEET.The main point I would say is that I have quite sensitive skin- at times I have eczema- and I had no trouble with this product at all. I know that they do make a sensitive skin version but this is a cream so more messy and also has a lower DEET percentage. This is the strongest one that Jungle Formula do and I would say the most practical format for application.I would definitely buy this again for a trip and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely loved this. Great because you can take it in hand luggage/carry on (since it’s under 100ml and not a spray). The smell is actually quite nice as well compared to what these DEET products used to smell like. It does have a very slight stickiness so that if you use it on your ankle, dust from the road etc will end up sticking to it
