This is my second handheld emulation machine. The other one I had was android based and took a lot of time to set up. This one was MUCH faster. Do yourself a favor and look up this device on YouTube and follow a set up guide published by Retro Game Corps. He tells you how to install OnionOS on it and it's worth the little bit of time. After setting this up and showing my daughter, I bought a second one so we can play co-op games over wifi. It's simple and perfect.

Nice device to play retro games. However it does have a bit of issues sometimes when charging. It won’t charge or it will shut down on its own.

Excellent product if you know what you are doing. Without some emulation knowledge, I wouldn't bother.

You WILL not regret this purchase.

The lack of analog sticks really hurts this handheld when it comes to games for other (non-GB) platforms.The screen is bright, battery life is good/great, the supported platform list is pretty good (better than the form factor really supports well).

Seriously, didn't even get to receive the item because of clumsy handling. I know the item itself is pretty good but be weary of buying from here...

As an experienced computer user since the 1980s, I could get everything to work, but it is not at all an out-of-the-box useful item. Someone who had not worked with Linux or installed operating systems and software would have a hard time getting it set up. Also, since the little unit can not run processes in protected mode, many of the "cheats" that are published with brick this unit so bad, the powerer button can not turn it off and you have to physically remove the battery and re image the sd card to recover. It's fun when it works but it sure took a lot of work to get it working
