I didn't like the phone holders with the suction cups since more times than not, they eventually fall off the glass or dashboard. Just wanted something that would hold my phone in both portrait and landscape orientation and wouldn't jiggle loose or fall off while I'm driving.This particular holder works very well, secures the phone well by means of collapsing/tightening arms (spring loaded I believe), and hasn't fallen out of the vent yet (Iphone 13 Pro Max with Case). Basically, you just set your phone and then squeeze the arms together (you'll hear/feel the clicks as it tightens). To release the arms and free the phone, there's a little quick-release button on the back side and the arms retract instantly.I've been very happy with the sturdiness of the holder because it's lightweight plastic and I thought I might have issues in the cold with it cracking. But I've had it for a while now and it's held up.When your phone is in the holder, be aware that you will block the vent air flow, but in the summertime, this is actually a benefit to keep the phone cool while using it, since the vent blows right on the back of the phone.Installation is super easy, just hook it in and tighten the nut and you're good to go. The instructions are clear and no tools are needed.Any phone holder of this level is going to have some vibration issues if you drive on bumpy or uneven surfaces. I barely notice when on paved roads and even at higher speeds. My car does shake a bit (it's older) when I reach higher speeds, but I've been very satisfied with the lack of vibration.As mentioned above, due to the design of this, it's quite versatile and you can swap from portrait to landscape orientation with the flick of a wrist by rotating it 90 degrees.Definitely worth the money and performs much better than others in the same price class that I've used in the past. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a simple solution to holding their phones in the car.

I've been using this Miracase vent mount for about 3 months. It stays put better than any other vent mount I have tried, and I've tried quite a few over the years. It has not fallen off or moved out of place once so far. The mechanism that connects it to the vent is innovative. It's trickier to install than most but not too bad. I feel it's well worth the extra effort to do it once and have it stay in place, versus an easier install that you have to re-do every time it falls off. I also like how the phone sits further out from the vent. Other vent mounts would place the phone right up against the vent and the phone would get very hot very quickly if the heat was on (even with the vent closed, there's always *some* heat there). I do not have that issue with the Miracase mount. I can leave the vent open with heat on and the phone is fine. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would buy it again if I needed another.

Fit my 2018 Honda CR-V.The upside:1. the fit is secure and tight and I have not experienced any shaking/vibrating issues2. the phone is in view without having to take your eyes off the road3. the phone release works smoothly4. easy to installThe down sides to this arrangement are:1. the vent is stuck in place. It cannot be moved up/down (but can still be moved side to side)2. it is difficult to do anything more than a few quick taps on the phone. It is not in a position to do any sort of texting or other searching (whether or not you should do that is another issue) while the phone is in the holder3. I wish the actual phone holder was a little bit longer as I have a larger sized phone (but it is still functional)4. you need a little patience to remove the holder from the vent (on those occasions where you have a reason to remove). The hooks need to be maneuvered to clear from the back of the vent fin.Overall, I prefer this arrangement over the cup holder type, especially since my state has cracked down on texting while driving!This product is highly recommended.

This is perfect for a 2015 S Toyota Corolla.Anyone with this car knows the vents are horrible for putting anything on them (air freshener, etc)The only thing I don't like and it's not a knock against the product, again it's the stupid design of the vents, is that it pulls the angle of the vent down. Something like a napkin can be put under the mount to lift it up, but that's not safe to do while driving. So, I have it only my passenger vent and it tilts over perfectly!Also, I have an S24 ultra and it held it perfectly and I had no issues!

Received my car phone mount and installed right away. Installation was simple to figure out without user manual however a manual is included and simple to follow. I have a samsung galaxy s24 ultra in a case and it fits easily into the mount. Squeeze to tighten and it holds my phone quite well. A button on the back of the holder releases the grip for easy removal of phone. I have a 2015 Dodge caravan with no navigation so I needed the phone mount in order to set my phone up for driving trips. This will help me navigate road trips with the GPS on my phone!

I like the design and the way it attaches to the vent. The hooks grab the rear of the vent and have their own tightening knob. No way will it fall off. Took literally 15 seconds to assemble and install. Great price for this device. Hey I made a rhyme how about that Willy!

I loved the item, it was built really well and I was excited to use it in my car. The issue was that it did not work based on the spacing of the vents in my car, definitely not a product issue. I had to return it and the seller was very understanding. Highly recommend it after checking to make sure your vent blades are close enough to each other.
