I didn't expect it to smell this good. I read that rice water is really good for your hair and scalp (specifically, fermented rice water, which I don't think this is) and I have used moringa oil before—it smells very...earthy. This shampoo and conditioner do not smell like moringa oil, and do not smell like fermented rice. I can't really say what they smell like—some strange whiff between fruity, floral, and herbal—and I love it. The shampoo lathers richly and the conditioner makes my hair easy to brush after my shower. I'm trying to grow my hair to max length, and I think this set, along with a weekly rinse of bonafide fermented rice water, will aid me in this endeavor.

I used this twice already and like how it softens and detangles my hair even more. It has a nice smell that is not overbearing. Sometimes shampoos leave a strong smell behind that can be annoying. This one is very nice and subtle while keeping scalp and hair clean. Both bottles are big so I believe it will last a long time for me. You don’t need to dispense much either for a nice lather. I hope it works well for me.

While the smell can be quite strong at times, I do enjoy the musky scent of this one. I like that it has safer and less ingredients, but I do wish it provided a little more nourishment. I’m unsure if it’s something I’m doing separate, or if since using the product my hair seems a bit more parched and dry. I love the clean feel and less toxins, but feel like I need a little more additional oils or something to smooth hair from frizzing after use. Overall happy to be using something safer, and want to try the other shampoos and conditioners from this brand.

This shampoo and conditioner set leaves my hair feeling clean and hydrated.

Telling you I'm a postpartum mom and all my hair were falling out as crazy, this thing stopped it, gave me back my curls, shiner and stronger and left my hair with this amazing smell. For sure this set will be in my forever favorites list

I have used the yellow bottle from this brand, desert melon something, for years and LOVE IT. This one is now a new favorite of mine. I have dry tangly hair and this shampoo and conditioner gets the job done with a fraction of the amount that I would need if I were using most drugstore brands. I ran out and briefly used L’Oréal and I had to slather my hair in leave in conditioner after washing because it dried my hair so bad. With this brand I don’t have to put anything in my hair and it feels so soft.

I was using a different brand of rice water shampoo but it had gotten too expensive at $ 20 for each. So I decided to try this one and I love both the shampoo and conditioner. I have very fine hair and it doesn’t weigh my hair down and it actually smells really good.
