Excellent replacement battery for Schumacher Jump packs when they burn you for your warranty.
Have several Schumacher Jump packs - the "Farm" ones with jump pack, 200 watt 120v inverter, tons of USB, LED worklight and a compressor.Well one of Schumachers biggest problems is they have BY FAR the worst customer service on the planet, their idea of warranty service is to ignore you.So, since these 150-225 dollar jump packs were shipped during a cold snap and USPS beat the hell out of them, of the 3 i purchased, 2 had cracked and leaking AGM batteries (18Ah)Schumacher ignored me. Calls, Emails even the BBB, they wanted no part of that great "USA WARRANTY" (on their 100% made in china trash) they blast all over their sales ads..The Battery, a brick and mortar retail store in our area, quoted me $134.49 EACH for this actual battery from Amazon, so they wanted the cost of the entire jump pack each. I passed. no warranty either!Enter AMAZON. 38 bucks and change, the box was beat to death and they were very poorly packed - which being an acid filled AGM battery is concerning, but only one (negative) terminal was bent so i can live with it... to explain, they throw the battery in a box, and put air bags under it and the top of the battery has zero padding. It looked like UFC #3293 took place in the box during shipping, but they survived. These are AGM (at least i got) Matt glass filled Lead Acid batteries, dont kid yourself theres no acid in these, there absolutely is and overcharging or dropping them will release the Kraken like my old ones did.The batteries were exact fit, and larger (according to specs) than the 15ah they replaced, so, BONUS.It was fully charged upon delivery, jump start pack showed 100% charged. I plugged in a DJI Phantom 4 Battery pack fast charger to charge drone batteries in the 120v plug.It worked fine, showed 71% on the jump pack once i turned the inverter on, and after 1.2 hours charging ended at 76% charge *(on the jump pack, yes - it went up)These seem to be good quality AGM replacements for Jump Packs and some APC UPS's we have in a datacenter.Buy em. 5 Stars.

Not maintenance free
This battery provides power to two 12-volts RV lights that I use inside the house to light up a dark hallway leading to the garage and a bathroom that has no windows to let light shine through. The bathroom light is on 24/7 and the hallway light is on approximately for about 14 hours a day. The battery is charged by a solar controller, which is connected to two 100 watts solar panels.I bought the battery here at Amazon in July 2021 and it has served its purpose well. However, since then, the electrolyte inside the battery has ran dried in two separate occasions. Once about a year ago and again this morning. In both occasions, the charger/controller has shown an E01 error, meaning the battery power is too low for the controller to charge the battery. Both time this happened, I've added a mixture of distilled water and Epson salt. The first time was around June 2022 and it worked flawlessly up to this morning, I expect the same result this time around, and so far, so good. There's a cover on top of the battery that can be removed to reveal the six rubber plugs that seal the cells. The cover is glued in place. A syringe can be used and makes it easier to fill each cell. I recommend having baking soda on hand to neutralize the acid in case of accidental spill.Anyway, the battery works, but apparently, although it's a sealed lead acid battery, is not maintenance free as I explained previously.

Work great as a replacement battery in my 24-volt lawn mower
I have a WORX 24-volt lawn mower. My original WORX battery died after about 3 years. Amazon sells a replacement battery unit from WORX, and I thought about getting one but looked at the price (nearly $200) and said NO WAY.I took the WORX case apart (several screws under the lid) and found two very simple 12-volt 17 Ah sealed lead acid batteries (SLA) and some wires. I took pictures of the wiring, and then I replaced the batteries with two of these. My total cost (delivered) was about $80 - saved a bundle. I re-connected the wires to the new batteries like the old ones and mower runs like new. These 18 Ah batteries are slightly taller than the 17 Ah originals, so battery case lid doesn't go all the way down - can't screw it back together. Not to worry - I duct taped the lid onto the lower case and the thing still fits in battery compartment, charger still works, etc. The mower 'flap' that normally comes down over the battery doesn't come down fully now, but almost. Since I saved about $100, I don't care that the flap doesn't fit quite right. If you don't feel handy enough to do this yourself, get a handyman to help you. The savings are worth it.The batteries came fully charged and work great in my mower. They were delivered very fast. You can probably find a lot of other uses for these batteries as well.

So far so good
I'm using this in my 23 HP twin cyl. ZTR. It is almost the same size though not nearly as thick so the oem mounts worked.Spins the heck out of it right out of the box...

Battery is fine, cannot return if you try.
This is one of those cases where the product is fine but if you want to return it and go to the manufacturer website to return it as directed by Amazon you will not be able to. Why? It's because their return process requires their order number as well as amazon's. Well, you can find the order number for the Amazon order but good luck finding the order number from the seller's perspective. They say to enter the order number from them as well as the order number from amazon. No order number from the seller anywhere to be found so you cannot finish their form and submit it. No way. Frustrating. DO NOT buy from EXPERTPOWER!
